The City of Tucson is currently developing a long-range transportation and mobility master plan called Move Tucson. Co-Project Manager's Patrick Hartley and Andy Bemis will provide an update on the planning process to date, and where Move Tucson is going from here.  The presentation will: provide an overview of the results of an existing conditions analysis of Tucson's transportation network, show Tucsonans' top transportation priorities based on Move Tucson community engagement efforts, preview some of the project types that are being considered in the plan, and introduce the draft network screening and prioritization framework that will be applied to all the Move Tucson projects.   

PATRICK’S BIO:  Patrick Hartley is the Complete Streets Program Coordinator for the City of Tucson, where he has been employed since 2019. Prior to coming to the City, Patrick worked at Pima Association of Governments for 6 years with a focus in long-range and modal transportation plans. Patrick graduated from the University of Arizona with a master's degree in Urban Planning.

ANDY’S BIO:  Andy Bemis is a Senior Project Manager with the Transportation Planning Team at the City of Tucson Department of Transportation & Mobility, where he has worked since 2015. He is the lead author of Tucson's Bike Boulevard Master Plan, and co-Project Manager for Move Tucson, the City's long-range Mobility Master Plan. Andy has a background in non-profit environmental advocacy and education, and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
