CO/WY Section Donates to Two Great Local Charities
In this time of need, through the 2019 ITE Charitable Donation Program, the Colorado/Wyoming Section of ITE made $1000 donations to two great local charities: Focus Points Family Resource Center and Sock It To 'Em Campaign.
Focus Points Family Resource Center
Since 1995, Focus Points has been serving and advocating for families in the Greater Denver Area through a few key areas: early childhood education, adult education (English classes, soft skill development, and career readiness), and family and community development.
From Focus Points: "We are grateful for all donations which help us deliver on our mission of Building Better Communities by Strengthening Families, and especially now as we respond to the COVID-19 crisis and the profound impact it’s having on the children, families, and individuals we serve. Your donation will be used to help meet the urgent needs of our communities during this crisis, including delivering free meals to vulnerable children and families, individuals, and homebound seniors."

Sock It to 'Em Campaign
Socks are the #1 clothing need of those experiencing homelessness. The Sock It To Em Sock Campaign aims to put new socks on the feet of men, women and children experiencing homelessness and/or are in need.
From the recipient: "Sock It To Em Sock Campaign would like to express our deep appreciation for the generous contribution from ITE Team. The funds you provided will go toward helping to purchase socks and to support our operation which is working hard to put socks on the feet of those experiencing homelessness. It's important to note that not only are socks the #1 clothing need of the those experiencing homelessness, but one of the #1 reasons a homeless person goes to the ER is a foot ailment and the #1 way to prevent a foot ailment is clean dry socks on a regular basis. Thank you again for helping us make a social impact one pair of socks at a time!"
