2026 Mountain District Annual Meeting Call for Abstracts
The 2026 ITE Mountain District Annual Meeting will be held June 10th—12th at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Mountain District Committee invites you to submit abstracts on Transportation engineering, planning, or related subjects for consideration as a presenter in the technical program. Our meeting will feature individual presentations, panel discussions, and technical tours. Young members (ages 35 and below) and students are strongly encouraged to submit presentation abstracts and poster topics through the online portal.
Please submit abstracts before December 19th, 2025.
The meeting’s technical program sessions will include multiple themes with a variety of topics. The Technical Program Committee invites submissions on topics which may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Transportation Safety & Vision Zero
- Innovative Transportation Planning
- Traffic Operations & the Use of Advanced Tools
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Active Transportation & Complete Streets
- Transit & Mobility Innovation
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence
- Emerging Technologies & Tools
- Research & Development Showcase
We are also accepting 15-minute TED-talk-style presentations. These are talks that are largely delivered without a Q&A component and do a quick, but deep, dive into a subject. A strict 15-minute time limit will be placed on these talks.
