About Idaho Section

Welcome to the website of the Idaho Section of ITE, a community of transportation professionals.  We are a society of about 90 members, students, and local affiliates who develop solutions to move people, goods, and services across Idaho and beyond.  One only needs to be active in the field of transportation or traffic engineering/planning and live within Idaho to be eligible to join the Idaho Section.

We hold our Statewide Conference in the fall, usually in the Boise metropolitan area.  Previous meetings have taken place at the Galaxy Center at Wahooz, SpurWing Country Club, and Boise State University.

Our monthly meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month from October to May.  Meetings take place at Ada County Highway District Headquarters, but we are striving to provide meeting locations on the eastern side of the state as well.  Cost has increased for 2026, and is $15 for members, $20 for non-members, and students are free.
