Advertising Committee

This committee is responsible for raising funds to support various district initiatives, including awards and scholarships, through sponsorships, job postings, products and services directory listings and other activities.

Annual Meeting Committee

The purpose of the Annual Meeting Committee is to provide guidance and support to the Local Arrangement Committees (LACs) for Mountain District annual meetings. Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain documentation and historical records related to Mountain District annual meetings;
- Coordinate with LACs for Mountain District annual meetings;
- Provide local LAC committee oversight;
- Coordinate with consultants that may assist with annual meeting site and hotel selection and contract negotiations;
- Support communication activities related to the annual meetings; and
- Participate at Mountain District board meetings.

The Awards Committee is in charge of outreach of award opportunities for the Mountain District, soliciting applications and nominations, communications related to award winners, and archival of award history. The ITE Mountain District Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee’s mission is to support the district by fostering and promoting an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment throughout the ITE Mountain District. It aims to integrate DEI best practices into district processes, policies, and operations while providing DEI industry resources to members. The approach will be holistic, including activities in practice, operational efforts, programming, participation in or creation of educational opportunities, and other initiatives that support the district. The practice will also focus on ensuring accessibility and fostering a sense of belonging for everyone within the district or impacted by the committee.
The ITE Mountain District prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the DEI committee aligns with the district's strategic plan and goals.
We are not experts but rather advocates for an environment that welcomes the inclusion of differences and similarities from all categories of the ITE Mountain District’s membership.

Student and younger Member Committee

The mission of the Student and Younger Member Committee (SYMC) is to promote the advancement of the profession by attracting and encouraging students into becoming transportation professionals and fostering the close association of students and younger members with ITE professionals and more senior members. Our committee includes Student Chapter Liaison representatives from every Section within the Mountain District, to ensure that the SYMC can maintain direct contact with all of the student chapters across the region.
