Purpose of ITE
ITE, A Community of Transportation Professionals, is a professional society of more than 15,000 transportation engineers, planners and other professionals in some 80 countries. ITE facilitates the application of technology and scientific principles to research, planning, functional design, implementation, operation, policy development and management for all modes of transportation.
The mission of ITE is to provide the global community of transportation professionals with the knowledge, practices, skills and connections to serve the needs of their communities and help shape the future of the profession and transportation in the societal context.
