Flying to Big Sky

  • Big Sky does not have an international airport. Travelers intent on flying to the conference will fly into Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) located in Belgrade, Montana. Bozeman-Yellowstone is the busiest airport in Montana, with direct flights to most areas of the ITE Mountain District including Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Carriers servicing the airport include United, Alaska, Southwest, Delta, and American Airlines. BZN is approximately a 1-hour drive away from Big Sky, therefore additional ground transportation will be required to reach Big Sky Resort.

Ground Transport & Driving to Big Sky

From Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)

Big Sky Resort is approximately 52-miles south of Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport. Traveling this route will take you through the scenic US 191 highway corridor. The US 191 corridor is a two-lane roadway passing through the Gallatin Valley and Custer-Gallatin National Forest. The road also winds and curves through forested, mountainous terrain as it closely follows the natural route of the majestic Gallatin River Canyon. While the road is pretty curvy, there’s no real crazy mountain passes or white-knuckle guardrail moments on this drive. Transportation options for getting to and from Big Sky Resort from BZN are included below:
